2. Crucial Stress Relief for Eaton Differentials
In addition to performance, the 6-Link was developed to relieve extreme structural stress from the vulnerable factory Eaton differential. The stock Corvette suspension inherently loads up the differential casing during hard acceleration from either a standing or rolling start. As the chassis loads, the half shafts violently push inward toward the differential—causing the familiar rear-end 'squat' associated with factory setups.
The upper bar of the Dragvette 6-Link eliminates this issue by supporting the trailing arm and preventing the half shafts from plunging inward. By deflecting these abusive forces into the upper arm, the differential is freed to perform its singular intended function: rotating the rear wheels. Because it no longer bears the weight and load of the chassis, the differential can safely handle significantly higher horsepower thresholds without catastrophic breakage.

For ultimate peace of mind, the system incorporates dual integrated half-shaft safety loops designed to securely retain the shaft in the event of a component failure. Proven Power Handling Capabilities
To date, no engine has exceeded the structural capacity of the Dragvette 6-Link. Our system is proudly running in extreme builds managed by HorsepowerDepot.com. Their setups feature our 6-Link alongside custom Truetrac rear ends, heavy-duty trailing arms, and chrome-moly half shafts—reliably putting down over 850 HP at the rear wheels and hammering out 9.10-second quarter-mile runs at 148 mph. Product Upgrades & Customization
To deliver premium features while keeping the base cost of the 6-Link system as accessible as possible, we are introducing a highly requested optional hardware upgrade. Standard strut tubes feature a knurled finish to facilitate adjustment. Based on valuable customer feedback requesting an enhanced design, our new premium upgrade features custom-machined hex flats on the strut tubes, allowing for seamless and secure wrench adjustments.
