INSTALLING THE DRAGVETTE 6-LINK (This is under construction but we are allowing a helpful look) It should be 99.9% accurate at this time sorry not quite finished but it is good help.

You will be impressed with the dramatic improvement the Dragvette 6-LINK will provide for your Corvette's handling and safety. This page is a step by step instructional guide to install the 6-LINK.
After you have removed rear spring, strut bracket, strut bars and the shock and shock mount you are ready to install the 6-Link. Some tips for performing those functions are: Spray some penetrating oil on all the nuts and screws. Use a jack to take the tension off of the spring bolts for easier rear spring removal, The spring weights up to 45 lbs so some help won't hurt. Remove the shock first. Then remove the shock mount. It may have been there for half a century so it may prove to be challenging, penetrating oil is a big help. Remove the nuts on the shock mount by hand to prevent stripping the threads if you plan to reuse them on the install. Leaving the nut on the end of the shock mount will help protect the threads for hammer blows, heat on the bottom of the fork with just a plumbers torch can make you successful, there is a tool that spins onto the threads and allows you to impact the shock mount with a very heavy blow from the hammer, keep in mind the steel bushing in the strut bar can be rusted to the shock mount, also if your going to replace the shock mount don't worry about damaging it. They are about $50.00 each.
Now you are ready to start the 6-link install The rear end and trailing arms are in place.
